How To Drink The Cleanest Water From Your Tap
The quality of the water we drink is something we all worry about sometimes and every now and again we hear of reports of contamination problems and the water may not be as clean as we would like it to be. I worry because this is the water my family drinks we use it to cook food in then there is house cleaning and washing clothes all using this same water supply.
Most of our water is treated with chlorine to kill bugs and some people may react to the chlorine that remains and many more people don't like the taste of their water.
If you would like to protect your families drinking water you can do so with the installation of a drinking water filters in your home to clean all the water that you use. The difficulty of installing a drinking water purifier will depend on what type of system you would prefer and whether you want to keep it simple or go for the more complicated plumbed in systems.
The simplest systems are the purifiers such as the Britas water jug and anyone would see at a glance how to use them as they are simply a water jug with a filter added and this cleans the water before you pour it out. The more permanent installations include purifiers to be fitted over the normal kitchen taps which enables you to have running water that has been filtered.
These drinking water filters are relatively cheap and they provide a good solution for most people though you may want a more permanent system once you become used to clean water.. If you want the ultimate water purification system you can have a built in system and purify your water as it comes through the pipes cleaned and ready for you to drink.
These permanent solutions may need you to change a filtration cartridge occasionally to maintain their efficiency. You will find that a fully installed water purifying system will work out at a higher cost than either the pitcher filtration or faucet water filtration systems but you don't need to think about them at all except for maybe changing a filter cartridge occasionally.
If filters are a nuisance then you should look at the distillation water purifiers which avoid filters by boiling water and allowing the vapor to rise and condense on metal racks with the pure water collected and leaving the contaminants down below. There are two further types of water filtration systems we haven't mentioned and these are reverse osmosis systems and UV purifiers.
With a UV purifier the water is zapped with ultraviolet rays are passed through the water which kills off virtually all biological agents. Reverse osmosis water filters work by forcing the water through a filter that only allows pure water to pass through and this prevents anything except water getting through.
So these systems give you the cleanest water you can get removing contaminants and particles giving to give you clean water to drink. All of these types of purifiers will help to clean your water but of all the options the reverse osmosis water purifiers do the best job and these are the most complete systems you can get.
