Our contemporary version of the traditional oak tantalus is both practical, simple in design and visually pleasing. Specially commissioned by Forever Crystal, this double tantalus is handmade from seasoned light oak by one of our local craftsman. Each tantalus is unique as along the front edge, we have retained the original bark of the tree giving each piece character and beauty. The turned handle can be removed from the body of the tantalus by unscrewing one of the handcrafted end knobs which are both finished with an oak tree motif. The rear of the tantalus bears our Forever Crystal Handcrafted logo. The tantalus is completed with a pair of our fine Buckingham crystal square decanters, each cut with a traditional diamond design. Each decanter is made from 24% lead crystal, traditionally blown, and closed by a multi-facetted crystal stopper. The tantalus has overall dimensions (mm) 290Lx190W (approx)x310H. The decanters have a square base of 100mm, overall height of 250mm, capacity 750ml and weigh approximately 2kg. The decanters are supplied in black satin-lined presentation box making this a fantastic gift for long service, achievement award, or special birthday present.
