Crystal Decanters for Whisky & Wine

Traditionally, the term crystal decanter has been used to describe a carafe made from at least 24% lead crystal. Although lead crystal glass has been around since 1674, the finest quality crystal decanters for whisky and wine continue to be produced from lead crystal due to the brilliance and clarity provided by this type of glassware. Lead crystal is also slightly softer allowing deep v-shaped cuts to be made in the glassware to create the lovely decorative designs that are usually associated with lead crystal decanters.

We offer a selection of traditional decanter designs such as the Buckingham Crystal Decanter which can also be combined with matching tumblers as in the popular Buckingham Crystal Decanter Set. We also offer some more contemporary designs such as our Severn Crystal Decanter which includes a personalised inscription.

Whilst crystal decanters are great practical and decorative gifts, they are also highly suitable for giving on special occasions such as award presentations, retirement or leaving gifts.
